For more than two decades, Guthrie has gone beyond other health care organizations in the region to bring the highest-quality medical care right to your doorstep. Guthrie Home Health care is Medicare certified with accreditation from the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP.)

Guthrie Home Health care is totally patient centered. A registered nurse or therapist will assess the home-care requirements of the patient, then work with the patient's physician to develop a customized treatment plan.

Special needs call for specialized services
Our Home Health care nursing staff is trained to provide quality care for the ill and disabled of every age, while offering instruction and emotional support to the rest of the family. In addition to regular nursing care, Guthrie also provides a number of specialized in-home services - all coordinated with the patient's physician.

REHABILITATION PROGRAM - Guthrie Home Health care offers a full rehab program, provided by physical, occupational and speech therapists.

Most Guthrie Home Health care services are covered by Medicare, Pennsylvania Medical Assistance, Blue Cross or major medical coverage and other private insurance. However, lack of coverage, or inability to pay for services does not mean loss of service. We will review your insurance coverage and explore alternative funding.
