The Section of Endocrinology evaluates, investigates, and treats endocrine and metabolic disorders in children and adults. Patients have access to extensive diet counseling and patient education.

Types of disorders and services include thyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders, disturbances of electrolyte metabolism, hypercalcemia, metabolic bone disease, endocrine hypertension, diabetes evaluation and therapy, home blood glucose monitoring, insulin infusion pumps, an outpatient obesity management clinic, and a team approach to the complicated diabetes patient.
