Allergy & Clinical Immunology
The Section of Allergy & Clinical Immunology offers
services relating to the diagnosis and
treatment of allergic, conditions such as asthma,
rhinitis, sinusitis, and allergic skin disorders
including urticaria, angioedema, and eczema. Clinical immunologic
services include immunizations and consultive services related
to abnormal immune responses to pollens, mold spores, animals, insects,
foods, drugs, and infections. Clinical procedures include
aeroallergens, and beevenom, skin testing,
spirometry, fiberoptic rhinolaryngoscopy,
nasal cytology, and pollen sampling of the outdoor environment.
