Guthrie Semester

The semester on the Guthrie campus during the scholar's senior year at Wilkes University has been determined to equal a 15-credit traditional academic semester. During the semester on the Guthrie Campus the scholar's time is divided between a research project, bench or clinical, and attending Medical Grand Rounds, Surgery Grand Rounds, Resident and Student Lectures, Teaching Rounds, Conferences, and shadowing Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers, Nutritionists, Allied Health Care Providers, and Administrators. This unique experience includes spending one week in the Wellsboro Guthrie Clinic, two days with Guthrie Hospice and Guthrie Home Health Care, one day with the Greater Valley Ambulance Service, and one day with the Med Stat Flight Team.
