Q: What are your program requirements?

A: Our program requires USMLE scores of 80 or above on the first attempt; graduation from medical school of not more then five years; and one year of clinical experience in the U.S. in an approved program.

 

Q: Do you sponsor Visas?

A: No.

 

Q: Do you participate in the NRMP?

A: Yes.

 

Q: How do I apply to your program?

A: Applications are accepted and reviewed through ERAS. (Click here for more info)

 

Q: How many letters of reference are needed with my application to ERAS?

A: Three

 

Q: Do you accept pending CSA?

A: Results would be required by February 1 of the match year.

 

Q: Are you affiliated with any universities or medical schools?

A: The Guthrie Family Medicine Residency is affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University Jefferson Medical College, Drexel University College of Medicine, and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

 

Q: Are you an "opposed" program?

A: We have no obstetric or pediatric residencies. Our residents do not compete for educational or clinical opportunities with our Internal Medicine or Surgery Programs.
