Nursing Research at Guthrie Conducting nursing research is one way that Guthrie nurses contribute to the nursing profession. Nursing Research Council The Nursing Research Council at Robert Packer Hospital is one of five professional councils that make up the shared governance model at RPH. Members of this council represent patient care areas with the hospital. The purpose of the Nursing Research Council is to promote the integration of nursing research and evidence-based practice, and to offer support and advice to help interested nurses get started in research.
