LEAP Testing Service

  Materials tested by the LEAP Testing Service include gloves,
  elastic bands, syringe plungers, erasers, a gas mask, surgical
and compressed air tubing, and exercise equipment and
  clothing.

MATERIALS TESTED

We can test almost anything that contains latex proteins or that is suspected of being contaminated with latex proteins.

We routinely test the following items:

gloves
condoms
liquid latex
dried latex films
catheters
balloons
elastic bands
reservoir bags
syringe plungers
adhesives
medical devices
basketballs
flooring
rubber mulch
bandages

For other types of samples, please call to discuss the feasibility of testing or special extraction conditions.

The minimum mass of sample needed for testing is about 0.5 grams.
